Long awaited Exhibition from 20 local artists comes home to The Embassy Art Gallery In Skegness this December.
The Exhibition of cutting edge contemporary works was curated by local artist John Byford in collaboration with the Skegness Town Twinning partnership. The exhibition showcases work inspired by artists of Skegness and surrounding localities. Received with much enthusiasm in Skegness’ twin town Bad Gandersheim in October the exhibition promptly moved on to Hangony (a town north-east of Budapest) in Hungary in November where it enjoyed another very warm welcome and much admiration from the people of the town.
“I am overwhelmed by the critical acclaim the exhibition has received so far” said curator John Byford “all the hard work and hundreds of miles travelled will have paid off when the artists and people of Skegness can see their Exhibition in it’s entirety on display in the Embassy – well done everyone!” he added.
Made In England – The Homecoming will open to the public on Monday 17th December in the Embassy Art Gallery. Preview evening will take place in tandem with the opening night gala performance of Cinderella the Pantomime on Saturday 15th from 5pm.
To accompany the exhibition a 50-page quality souvenir catalogue has been produced containing details of the twenty artists and their inspirational creations – these are a strictly limited number and will be available to purchase from The Gallery and the Embassy Box Office priced at £6 each.
